Ready For Our Nature Walk!

There was just enough time before our nature walk for a group photo of a few of us in the lobby.
Mrs. Idaho with a hedgehog! We met with people from the zoo to see native Arizona wildlife. Which means roaches, snakes and reptiles. You all would be proud! I held them all though I was a bit squeamish with the hissing roach.
Isn't he cute!
My good buddy, Mrs. MD! She was the only person who I knew well before we both won our state crowns!

Wewalked for 15 minutes in the heat through a nature trail. It was beautiful, but we were all melted by the time we got to the Greens. Thankfully we hitched a ride back to the hotel.

Mrs. World

Meeting Mrs. World, Diane Tucker, was the highlight of the evening. She lives here in Tucson just 5 minutes from the hotel. Sorry the photo is rotated the wrong way. I'm too tired to fix it. Please feel free to just turn your head.HA HA!
Another fun group shot.
This is Don Siedeman, who photographed me when I was at Miss USA. That's all for now as I'm tired and we have to be up very early to start shooting for TV at 7 AM!

Let The Games Begin!

Orientation started tonight at 7 PM with the delegate welcome dinner. This was the first time we got to meet all of the delegates.
Waiting for dinner with Mrs. MN. I ate it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding Victor!
My roomie with Mrs. IL, who by the way is a former Miss OH from 1987! I was Miss OR USA and there are 4 other Miss USA State titleholders competing at Mrs. America this year.
Here I am with Mrs. FL one of the other former Miss titleholders.
This is the group shot of all the lovely ladies sitting at our table. What a neat evening.
